Taryn and Rob tied the knot in the beautiful Elgin valley surrounded by their family and friends. They’ve been together for such a long time, and it’s clear to see that they’re perfect for each other, but also best friends that share a wonderful adventurous spirit.
Taryn and her bridesmaids got ready at her parent’s home, on a farm surrounded by orchards. It was a happy chaos, with bridesmaids laughing and sipping champagne while getting hair and make-up touch-ups done, mom, dad and aunt popping their heads in to see how things were going, even the family dogs were amongst the hustle and bustle, tails wagging, curious to see what all the fuss was about.
They chose a very unusual and fantastically fun venue for their reception – Old Mac Daddy Luxury Trailer Park. After the ceremony, Taryn and Rob joined their guests for pre-drinks and canapés on the lawn, some dark clouds threatened above, but fortunately the rain only came down after everyone had moved into the reception hall.
Old Mac Daddy Elgin is a very unique venue. The main reception hall “The Barn” is a stunning minimalistic Scandinavian light wood structure, with sunlight streaming in through huge window-walls, which display spectacular views of the valley below. The accommodation is the best part, big gleaming airstream trailers, each interior designed to a different creative theme by individual artists. These trailers made for fantastic “sets” for photos when the rain started pelting down during the couple shoot! We even rounded up all the bridesmaids for some fun photos in the “Mills & Boon” trailer, they were such good sports, love it!
